Lecture & workshop
Nick Coutsier invites the GL community to take part in the artistic research that shapes his movement practice. In this post-ADE moment, we’ll take movement as a way of leading into the body as well as landing into the body and its surrounding spaces. We’ll experiment with movement in relation to collectivity, contemporary ritual, notions of belonging, and connection. Underlying this, there’s a movement towards re-owning techno as black sound as well as an exploration of ‘the dark’ of nightlife as a place of potential transformation.
Expect to engage with these topics through collective movement, bodily experimentation, and open-hearted conversation. Bring comfy clothes and a curious mindset. Afterwards, we’ll share some (vegan) bites brought to us by Malou of Rebel Radish.
