The secrecy of code retains a certain allure. A mutual understanding meant only for the in-crowd. Just out of reach.

In time, a set of behaviours coagulates — cementing the existence of ‘community’ as an assortment of ideas.

            Q | Isn’t it cute, this bonding over perceived shared commonalities? 

Coded existence implies the negation as well as upholding of rules.
Moving along, within, or beyond the margins. A life lived in part(s).

            Q | Is it helpful to frame an arguably universal experience as ‘queer’?

Coding is also creation. Making something out of nothing. A seemingly nonsensical sequence of letters, numbers, and symbols coming together in a way that allows us to derive some sort of meaning from it. 

           Q | Is God the first hacker?
